What a fantastic busy Summer we’ve had! It’s been all go in our workshop and out and about installing some beautiful kitchens for happy clients. We’ve got some exciting new projects on the go including a ‘Kitchen in a Cupboard’ giving you all the requirements for a kitchen from a hob to a dishwasher in a cupboard. With one design off to be installed this week – we can’t wait to show you some images soon. In addition to the handcrafted kitchens, the workshop team have been busy creating some bespoke bedroom and office furniture too. Now that we’ve got a moment to catch our breath, we thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce our newest team member Chris.

Here he is in his own words:

My name’s Chris and I started at Dowers in June of this year. I love creating objects of beauty and quality from wood.

I retrained as a carpenter relatively recently and I’ve not looked back. I initially worked on-site but I realised very quickly that cabinet-making was the path I wanted to follow so I’m delighted to be working here.

I grew up in Hampshire before living in London for many years. So, it’s great to be a local boy working for a local company!
